We have many users requesting some sort of notification or popup from the user interface when they are about to time out, it would be nice if the user could click a button on the popup to reset the ti...mer to let SBM know that they are still working. The problem is that some of the applications we are using ask for a lot of data on submit, data that needs to be pulled from many different sources and it takes a very long time to pull that info or put together writeups. During that time SBM thinks our users are idle and will log them out if they don't finish in time. What's worse is that our users will then lose all that data they had been working on, forcing them to start over and try to do it again. What we would really like to see is a popup on the user's screen 5 minutes before they are about to be logged out with something along the lines of: Are you still working?[Yes - Continue][No - Logout]Your session will time out in XX:XX. This would help us out a lot, probably the number one request we hear from users working those larger items. More

Current privileges model in SBM is based on Owner (and Secondary owner), Submitter, Contact and Contact's company fields of an item (with last two used for view only, not transition). For enterprise-wi...de workflow applications that is often not enough. On many occasions there is a need to grant view (and/or transition) privileges to users based on data other than those mentioned above.1st example:Submitter submits an item. He/she is a member of an organizational unit. Manager of that organizational unit should be able to see that item. But there is also a hierarchy of organizational unit in effect and managers of organizational units up the hierarchy should also be able to see that item. 2nd example:There is a list of services (auxiliary table), and item is submitted by selecting one of the available services. There are teams (or individuals) responsible to solve request connected to that particular service3rd example:User submits an item. User is located in "Location A" (information is in auxiliary tables). Only Level 1 techs that cover that particular location (again, that information is in auxiliary tables) should be able to see (and act on) that item. Final example:Not really example but the fact that all of the above is needed in same workflow. So, it would be great to have flexible way of specifying privileges based on various information contained in auxiliary tables. This is a problem that in many occasions disqualifies SBM as a potential platform for implementing some enterprise-wide workflow applications that requires strict permission/privileges handling. I know that initially it seems that it can be solved by collecting all privileged users into Secondary Owner field during submit phase, but great problem is maintaining that list during the life cycle of an item (during the life cycle of an item, changes are happening in all those auxiliary tables and keeping those change in sync with items Secondary Owner field is a maintenance nightmare). And this is for view only, let alone transition privileges. More

during the notification process we are trying to determine if all notifications are being sent. but the ns.log file is limited to 5MB and we have to search multiple log files for the notification acti...on. is there a way to increase the sixe of the ns.log file so we have the results in a single file instead of searching through many? i am trying to verify a notification was sent for a notification rule (escalation) after a period of 30 days, but because we have logging leve set to debug, the file does contain that criteria, we have to search other log files such as ns.log.1 ~ ns.log.10 More

A broadcast email feature is needed that would allow SBM Administrators to send emails to the entire SBM user base. (i.e., "SBM will be down from 4pm - 5pm on 5/1/17.")

Provide a valiation option of the import data prior to commit. Provide the option to validate data against SBM database prior to actual dataloading.  Provide a log file, which shows rows in input file... that will not be import because of Invalid Data.  i.e. Row 2 Client not Valid. Tthis would allow the input file to be cleaned up prior to the actual importing and commited to database. More

Allow universal addition of sidebars, header and footer to quick and custom forms Allow universal addition of sidebars, header and footer to quick (not possible?) and custom forms.  The sidebar(s) ar...e obvious, since they would contain the company logo. The headers would contain the name of the state or transition, automatically. Possibly, one could select the custom forms to which the universal addition would apply. More

Ability to export system reports to Excel We have the ability to export regular reports, but it would be nice to be able to export system reports in SBM.

If you logon to the GUI and then logout the concurrent license will be releases in up to 15 minutes. The webservice concurrent license timeout is 60 minutes. A scheduled report is a webservice call a...nd so this is the same. So scheduled report (or Run transition from notification) consumes concurrent user license and if user does not login from UI, his license is released after 60 minutes (in SBM 11). The concurrent license timeout for webservice calls should be reduced. More

In previous versions of the application, mainly TeamTrack, one was able to adjust the release time of licenses in the Admin Tool. Within the current version(s) of SBM it is hard coded to 60 minutes pl...us cycle time of 5 minutes. Having this be a configurable setting would be very helpful for customers who have a limited number of concurrent user licenses. More
