In the User Workspace view, you can be viewing an item or a report, and from that still utilize the basic ID search within a workflow. That's no longer true in the Work Center view, since items, repor...ts, etc. are popped up in a new window DIV.  It would be nice to elimiate the two clicks that every user has to go through when they're given a list of items they have to search through (e.g it's not easilty listed in a report). If the search bar was avalible within a popup, or even was avalible within the global navigation bar, that would make nagivating around the Work Center much smoother. More

Kevin Dimmen added Double click to edit to favorites
While viewing a state form, provide the end user to perform an update of the item by double clicking a field.  This could put the form in to an edit mode. Once the edits are saved, the Update transiti...on is performed, modifying the data. This would be similar functionality to what is found in the Editable Grid. This will help with ease of use to the system, allowing users to quickly edit for misspellings, etc. More

during the notification process we are trying to determine if all notifications are being sent. but the ns.log file is limited to 5MB and we have to search multiple log files for the notification acti...on. is there a way to increase the sixe of the ns.log file so we have the results in a single file instead of searching through many? i am trying to verify a notification was sent for a notification rule (escalation) after a period of 30 days, but because we have logging leve set to debug, the file does contain that criteria, we have to search other log files such as ns.log.1 ~ ns.log.10 More

Instead of writing report queries over and over each time you write a similar report, why not encapsulate them as business rules?  As a report creator, I would like to be able to: Reuse existing qu...eries or query fragments Use previously defined business rules as part of my report queries For example, the "Priority 2 Evaluation" business rule from the SSM Change Management process app could be part of a query:    Where Submit date > 1 day ago and Priority 2 Evaluation = true   More

I need the ability to grab the change history of an item programmatically.  We have a lot of integrations today that interact with SBM via the SOAP web services and it would be preferable if there was... a way to get the change history the same way.  There is a GetStateChangeHistory call, but that only returns state changes, not ALL changes.  Why anyone would only care about the times an item changed to a different state and not just every change that happened to an item is beyond me.  Moreover, it errors when querying auxiliary tables, probably because they don't have states, and I need to be able to get the change history of aux table items. As an application designer, I would like a way to document environment or project specific changes that the system administrator needs to make before, during or after deploying a new or updated proces...s application. Add a Process-App level feature to Composer with a list of project-level changes that need to be made to fully support my new or changed process application.  For example, I added new fields to support new requirements for notifications and reports.  I would like to document what needs to be changed in the notifications and reports for the person doing the promotion to Production. The same applies to project-level over-rides, new Roles to be assigned to Groups or Users, Advanced Reporting views to be created, etc.   More

Kevin Dimmen added Create versioned APIs to favorites
As we modify our APIs and add functionality, we should introduce a versioning aspect to the API to ensure backward compability with other integrations. Microsoft has implemented this as a parameter to... be passed in the HTTP URL in some of their tools. Other tools have implemented it in the structure of the endpoint URL, such as /jsonapi/v1, /jsonapi/v2, etc. These different versions would allow users to migrate their integrations to newer versions, gaining the added functionality when desired instead of the alternative of not updating SBM because their integrations may break. We have many users requesting some sort of notification or popup from the user interface when they are about to time out, it would be nice if the user could click a button on the popup to reset the ti...mer to let SBM know that they are still working. The problem is that some of the applications we are using ask for a lot of data on submit, data that needs to be pulled from many different sources and it takes a very long time to pull that info or put together writeups. During that time SBM thinks our users are idle and will log them out if they don't finish in time. What's worse is that our users will then lose all that data they had been working on, forcing them to start over and try to do it again. What we would really like to see is a popup on the user's screen 5 minutes before they are about to be logged out with something along the lines of: Are you still working?[Yes - Continue][No - Logout]Your session will time out in XX:XX. This would help us out a lot, probably the number one request we hear from users working those larger items. More
