exit button for page when accessing URL(workcenter shell) given in email notification Hot

by Jerry Mak on January 07, 2016

When accessing a page via URL(workcenter shell) generated in email notification the resulting browser page does not have an exit button. If a user was accessing the same browser page normally by logging in via workcenter they can see the exit button. It should be consistent.

  • Hi Jerry,

There's no exit button because there's nothing to exit to. When you launch from an E-mail, you're just opening up the item and not the full Work Center interface. There is a button that is displayed that says "Open in WorkCenter". If you select that button, the item will be re-opened in the full WorkCenter interface and the exit button will be present. When that exit button is selected, the browser will remain open on the WorkCenter page.
