Endpoint Viewer by Application Hot

by Derek George on November 19, 2015

The Issue:  Not having an easy way to see which endpoints a given application is currently using for a given environment.

  • It Would be nice to be able to see what endpoints are being used by a particular application for a particular environment.  For instance when we have bad endpoints due to a faulty deploy/promote the only way to see what endpoint is currently being used is to find the latest deploy or promote and look at the log detail for it, finding the endpoint mapping steps.   This can be tedious and cumbersome to sift through depending on volume of applications and deploys.

This may be similar to the idea for 'Endpoint Manager' (http://www.serenacentral.com/community/ideas/sbm/endpoints-manager).   The management concept I like at it takes the View need one step further and allows you to redeploy only what is necessary to be fixed.

  • Guess I didn't lobby or campaign hard enough on this one. Not as big an issue now since we have a smaller footprint of process apps and orchestrations.
