Group Attribute Report Filter question Hot

by Ribhu Sanyal on February 22, 2016

The Group Attribute filter requires an option to select “Not Populated” or similar at each level.

This way we can use the filters to display only those areas where the ReqArea and Sublevel1 selections are explicitly matched, and not display SubLevel2 data

Group Attribute Report Filter Question

  • We are creating a Document template that pulls in requirements for each requirement area by chapter. As you are aware, the requirement areas are group attributes in my case.

Example Group Attribute: Main Level with two sub levels.

    • 2 Stakeholder Targets-2.4 Quality and Uptime-2.4.1 Reliability
    • 2 Stakeholder Targets-2.4 Quality and Uptime-2.4.2 Maintainability
    • 2 Stakeholder Targets-2.4 Quality and Uptime-2.4.3 Durability
    • 2 Stakeholder Targets-2.4 Quality and Uptime-2.4.4 Quality Impression

What I need to do is this:

Find only the requirements that are assigned to 2 Stakeholder Targets with both sub levels empty

Find only the requirements that are assigned to 2 Stakeholder Targets - 2.4 Quality and Uptime, with the last sublevel blank

By default, if I run a query where I set the group attribute to “2 Stakeholder Targets” with all other sublevels blank, I get a result that still has everything included in it, since the Main Level finds a match for all sublevels. I am looking for only those requirements that are defined at the Main level. Is there a filter or scripting setting that will allow me to do this?
