Ability to use multiple puulse webapps to connect to a single DB server.

  • It appears that when having multiple pulse wbapps connecting to a single database server there are issues with synchronizing the DB schema and authenticating user's, typicall error in pulse log's are connection refused, already in use and seen when it will say the network adapter is unavailable. Reference case # 5500741.

Using multiple Pulse instances connected to a single database server is a supported configuration. Serena R&D in fact use such a configuration themselves internally. This sounds like an environmental issue. I'm sure Serena Support will be able to help you resolve it if you get in touch.
